&lt;h4&gt;The machine we have is a Mylab 40Vet, supplied by Imotek. The machine came with a package of three probes - 2 for cardiology and one for general abdominal imaging, but I understand any combination is possible. When Animed took on the machine, it was on a lease basis (it reduces the tax implications associated with depreciation), but I belive new it cost approx &amp;pound;14000 back in January 2008. I think it is a very versatile machine and has satisfied every demand we have made of it - until we get a Vivid7 from Vingmed - only a snip at &amp;pound;65000, and only likely to arrive in my dreams...&lt;/h4&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Some days we have to use the waiting room after consults to use the scanner if the interferance is really bad.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I think our scanner is a PIE medical but will have to check that tommorow when I go back into work.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I live in Wickham and travel to aldershot to my Tp each day. I say Fareham or Portsmouth as not many people have heard of Wickham.&lt;/p&gt;
