&lt;p&gt;They are probably thinking it is cryptosporidiosis. This is common in leopard geckos and causes anorexia and wasting.&amp;nbsp; There is loads of info about it on the internet - but unfortunately it is usually fatal.&amp;nbsp; Supportive care etc can be successful though, so good luck!&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Thats what he called it! I couldn&amp;#39;t remember before. Unfortunatly it did turn out to be fatal, he died this morning. Thanks for all your help.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Misting them with water can help with any dehydration as can warm water baths.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Have you changed the Uv light recently? as i think they are supposed to be replace every few years.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Check his mouth and make sure there are no sores there too. Reptiles can be funny things to treat and often don;t show any symptoms untill they are really no too bright.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;It stopped eating too and lost a lot of weight.&amp;nbsp; As it would be unethical to prolong it&amp;#39;s suffering (and nobody knew what to do with it) we arranged for PTS but sadly it died before we got to the vets.&amp;nbsp; A few months later, a different vet said blindness is a cause of anorexia in geckos - if they can&amp;#39;t see their food, they don&amp;#39;t eat it.&amp;nbsp; I don&amp;#39;t know if this is true but might be worth seeing if it responds to you in the same way we check with cats and dogs?&lt;/p&gt;
