Just need to pick your brains. I am writing up a caselog where I have positioned for a posterior/anterior view of a hind limb and am struggling to put into words how I positioned the cat. I have checked my notes from college and in a few

Re: Positioning for radiographs,
Hehe! Me too, I have a friend who is a radiographer in the NHS so have always said Radiographs instead of X-ray. Thanks for your help.
That's why you use the terms AP or PA

Re: Positioning for radiographs,

Hehe! I never really used AP or PA......

anyway, Just write about the position of the patient so was it VD or DV???

What position aids did you use??

and talk about land marks used to palpate to ensure correct positioning.

Correct marking ie L or R marker

and how patient information is transferred onto the radiography

On the plus glad to see you using proper terms such as radiograph instead of x-ray (just a little pet hate of mine hehe)

Re: Positioning for radiographs,

Caudocranial

Re: Positioning for radiographs,

do you mean Caudocranial or Craniocaudal???
