Hi, generally lasts till maturity, can be acutely painful. We use NSAIDs as and when needed until the pain subsides. We have had a very bad one who had masses of new bone formation but now 15 months old finaly seemed to have settled down.

Also soft foods tend to be very useful in these cases as eating/grinding teeth can be painful for them.

Craniomandibular osteopathy? A genetic disease affecting mainly WHWT, Cairns and Scottish Terriers. Typical onset from puppyhood to 10 months of age.

Very painful, symptomatic tx from what I remember.

Its also known as loin jaw, some dogs grow out of it but it can be very painful, thats all I know about it!
