We are looking to improve our storage system and I would like to get everyones thoughts and ideas.
Many thanks.

Re: How do you store your E.T tubes?

I guess for this one it depends how many et tubes you carry in practice - we are small (and friendly!) so only have 2 of the most used sizes and 1 of the rest so it is not too many and they are fine in a drawer. I guess in larger practices this would just be a nightmare - not least as you would all bang heads trying to get in the drawer. Another example where it really depends on practise logistics and what works best for you.

Re: How do you store your E.T tubes?

I personally don't like them all shoved in a drawer together, althou like the idea of divider.
that would be pointless anyway - surely everyone tubes and preps their animals in the prep room anyway??? Storing on the wall is fine - just not in theatre.

We have been complimented on our neat, organised racks (by our VNAC when being checked for TP status - we chose not to join PSS) and it means they are easily grabbed in an emergency. They are too high to get contaminated, and we only keep two of each size on the wall for regular use - there certainly isn't time for them to gather dust - and more spares are kept in the drawer. We find they are kept in better condition than being pushed around the drawer. Works for us.

Re: How do you store your E.T tubes?

In a drawer and divided into 2.0 - 5 ish in one box and 6 - 10 in another with the bigger ones alongside.
