I just done my practicals and in the naso gastric task you didnt have to work out the BER there was a chart with the weight and then the desired amount next to it x

I am due to take my practicals in june and we are taught to use the following formula at college;

over 5kg = 30 x bodyweight + 70 = BER

under 5kg = 60 x bodyweight = BER
