I am doing some research for my company and would appreciate some feedback from people on the battle site so to speak!
Firstly what handscrub do you use and why?
Does anyone still use a Povidine -iodine for pre op prep or handscrub

Re: Infection control

[quote user="Kay Lockwood"]

DEFRA list trigene advanced is licensed still?

-intersting stuff. So it's just the advanced that's covered - those reps are very clever with their wording !!!! although I still like Safe 4 and there must be a reason the QMH use it as their disenfection of choice - anyone care to shed any light on that?

Re: Infection control

Well according to this:

We do use povidine iodine but only really for prepping for eye or mouth surgery. It isn't used as a skin scrub at all.
