Yes I think they do help. I was worried about using them on rebreathing circuits because I wondered about increased resistance/ respiratory effort but after discussing with a number of veterinary surgeons I was told this wasnt really a problem, and may have been more beneficial. Wasnt happy using them with very small animals</p> <p>The ones we were using I think only came in one size - hope this helps</p><div style="clear:both;"></div>
