We tend to give exercise, metoclop and lots of fresh veggies but we don always give as much as 10ml per feed as sometimes can be too much for them. I usually tend to give 5ml every 2 hrs or 10ml every four. Wet grooming and gentle massage can also be helpful x

Re: Help needed Bunny not pooping

Everyone has said pretty much what I would have suggested. I would cut back on the syringe feeding dependant on how much you are doing as if she is stressed she may not eat herself. Put her somewhere nice and quiet with something yummy. Exercise will be goo too.

Re: Help needed Bunny not pooping

will she eat any alfalfa at all - with it being sweet sometimes they will pull at this in preference to other hay , just wondered if a bit more fibre in would produce more residue and therefore more to pass

Re: Help needed Bunny not pooping

i think the only things extra that we do is to gently massage the abdomen and also give some pineapple juice. hope that helps and good luck with the bunny

Re: Help needed Bunny not pooping

Sounds like you are doing everything right. Will she eat fresh food? is she not eating through choice herself? Perhaps vary the syringe feed and try Supa Excel or Science Select mashed with warm water.
