 My 18month old boycat has just developed one on his upper lip. I&amp;#39;ve only had him 3months, he&amp;#39;s a housecat and always has been.

&lt;p&gt;I&amp;#39;ve seen bad indolent ulcers in strays where almost all of the top lip is missing which look horrendous &lt;img src="http://www.vetnurse.co.uk/emoticons/new/Sad_smiley.png" alt="Sad" /&gt;. The one on my cat is just a apprx 3mm flat ulcer on his top lip.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I&amp;#39;m going to email the breeder and see if he&amp;#39;s had them before, although she didnt &amp;nbsp;mention anything&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Have seen following treatments used successfully&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Elimination trials. &lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Parasite control. &lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Antibiotics. &lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Essential fatty acids&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Have seen steroids and cyclosporin used successfully.&lt;/p&gt;
