&lt;p&gt;You&amp;#39;re in a really uncomfortable position that most of us have all been in, waiting to get a trainee job, I wrote letters to 50 practices for 2 years until I got offered a voluntary weekend job at my first practice.&lt;/p&gt;

Any animal experience does tend to be an advantage, and while veterinary experience is useful it isn&amp;#39;t always essential for many SVN positions. Keep persevering though as its not the easiest position to find unfortunately.&lt;/p&gt;
