I'm doing the RVC diploma, and we can't do this for formal assessments as the assignment is meant to be anonymous (with only your VN number as identification), is that not the same with the DipAVN?

I agree with Steph! For my practicals, I had to assemble a To and Fro.............A TO AND FRO!!!!! I have never even set eyes on one before, and never have since!!

I'll third that!!! WE had to and fro in my first practice none since thank god! They prob still use it!!! The only place for them is either the bin or antiques roadshow lol

The lecturers also happen to the examiners!!! Makes no sense what so ever

I asked a few of the students who were doing it, ain't that pretty pointless. the reply was "we they don't want us to fail" No such luck for us old school diploma student who go in totally blind folded!!!!

I felt the same when I saw the task - what's a mini lack?! - but it is exactly the same as a parrallel lack, just smaller. Same circuit factor and everything. I'm sure you'll be fine, just make sure you run through the task a good few times with the clock running and don't panic!! At least - thats what I'm trying to do!!

There is no To and Fro in the practical exams.

Mini Lack is the same as the normal lack only smaller. It is not available as the semi disposable type that the others are, so for this reason you do not have to put it together. So although it looks like you have to do more, choose an ET tube and set flow rate, you do not have to assemble a circuit.

They have also removed the Magil task.
