 Has anyone carried out blood transfusions in birds any species of bird / advice would be helpful.

I do not knwo a lot about bird tranfusions in birds but do know a lot about birds and was impressed that you could get a leg veing and a wing vein both concious!!!!! &lt;p&gt;We stole approx 30ml maybe less of blood from his friend conscious from his leg vein mixed it with anticoagulant, The&amp;nbsp;donor bird&amp;nbsp;weighed over 2kg so could have taken up to 40ml. Then adminstered it conscious to the reciepent bird via the ulna/wing vein.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Sorry I dont know nothing about blood transfusion in birds - or birds for that matter! (fat lot of good I am!! lol) but I find it really amazing that you did one!&lt;/p&gt;
