Try looking at Medivet, Pet Doctors, Village Vets, they have tons of branches and are often looking for staff

hey sarah,

thanks for your help, i saw them adverts too. the only problem is there floating nurses so i would have to travel to different branches and i am not driving at the moment so that would prove hard.

Unfortunately having your own pets doesn't count it is hands on in a working environment that does. You will find that own pets is a handicap as we can be calm and composed with patients... let one of our own limp or sneeze and the average vn goes to bits convinced that the animal has a major life threatening death min's away problem. As you will see if you have a look through some of the threads.

i dont have any professional experience. but i have worked on a farm for one summer.

and i have had and still have so many pets.

i'm going to be doing some volunteer work very soon so hopefully that should help.

places are few but the number of people wanting places is high. do u have any exp? Getting that is a good adv. Also sending cvs to all training practices nar you should help . It's hard, people look for years to find one or u can be lucky and get one.
