We've got the Kruuse one, find if you don't use it much the plastic sticks to each other and needs to be teased apart - very worried about ripping it!!

not if you use a very small amount of talc or french chalk they dont stick together - you dont need much at all and it can really make a difference - quick wipe off before you use it and no problems

Re: Oxygen tents and tube feeding

Im so glad i have just loged on i was going to ask same question

Re: Oxygen tents and tube feeding

the new BSAVA manual of Advanced vet nursing has a good chapter on nutrition in it inc. assisted feeding

Re: Oxygen tents and tube feeding

in answer to your tube feeding question.

you practice has probably got a copy of a pretty hefty textbook called Small animal clinical nutrition, its green. that has a fab chapter on assisted feeding of all types.

or see if you can get hold of a copy of the nursing proceedings from this years BSAVA. there were some good lectures that covered assisted feeding and there was a masterclass on it.

there have been some articles in VNJ too if someone has back copies they can lend you.

the chapter in companion animal nutrition (Ackerman) is also really good and up to date.

failing all that - do a search for papers on science direct or pub med.

goodluck.
