I have been given this task before in practice. I made a table on the computer, looked back through the book and filled in as much as possible from peoples comments. I then left the chart in the x-ray room and asked all the vets and nurses to fill it in as they took decent x-rays (which of course the nurses did far more of than the vet, he he!) I had to nag them a bit and then once a week I just updated it on the computer and re-printed, that way if it did get lost there was still a fairly recent version to hand.

Re: x-ray charts - help!

is it a new machine? can you look back thru the xray book and get decent exposures from there?

From what I understand, each machine is different, so a decent xray chart can only be achieved by recording and appraising every single xray, till you have enough to make a chart.

As I said, am only learning, so apologies if wrong!
