We have ordered the obvious and recieved stuff for horses. I can not find any thing in my wound management book.

I thought wound powder went out with the Herriot vets and large animal only brigade...but then when i started in practice they still liked a dash of hydrogen peroxide (the senior vets that is!)

My greyhound, Saskia has persistent lameness, meloxicam wasnt doing much for her so she is now on carprofen bid.

3 years ago, the lameness started, my vet at the time thought it may be a small foreign body in the paw as it seemed an acute lameness - so poor Saskia had to be sedated and have the good old hydrogen peroxide to hope 'bubble' out anything foreign. It didnt work

I have accepted the fact that it is arthritis probably due to an old racing injury as she was a racer in her time.
