Thats ok, after having an anxious few days just got caught off guard a little but absolutely agree with you there.

I am waiting for the day I read an ad that states the practice has all the mod cons and up to date diagnostic technology, oh and by the way ... a rota wash to help make cleaning those floors a lot easier !!

No offence taken or meant by the way! Just think that as professionals we should sell ourselves as nurses - anything else you can do is an exceptional bonus!

I just find it annoying when adverts say "must love tea & chocolates" or "needed chocolate loving nurse", as if thats the only thing that makes us a good nurse - shit pay but we get tea & cakes!! Woo Hoo what more do I need??

This is my first try at placing an ad and I appologise profusely for any copyright or offense caused in the mention of baking. However ... if you use the lure of tea and biscuits to entice permanent staff then you must also appreciate a locum who can accomodate with the occasional homemade batch or cookies or muffins in the meantime

ARGH!!! Not only is the tea & biscuit thing in our adverts - our locums are now trying to entice people to employ them with the lure of it!!!

Sell yourself as a nurse.....not a tea lady!!!
