i was on the degree which u know is great but i just get so bored being stuck in a class!! i just really want to get out there get my qualification and progress in life! hopefully have my nvq2 in august and thn who knows, another year of uni is soo depressing!!

oh wildlife nursing! something i would lovee!!just looks so interesting!! tht or an rspca inspector always looked good :D

can't agree more about job hunrting, theres so few jobs out there aswell!! :(

I've been out of nursing a couple of years, to get some money together to fund my training. I still volunteer so I keep my hand in :) was a wildlife nurse for about 10 years and thought it was about time i qualified, as i've gone as far as i can.

job hunting is soooooo depressing!!!

aw are you looking to be trained or a qvn? am givng up hope!! thinking of going bk to uni for a year jst so fed up though! I can't imagine another year not doing what i love!! :( its killing me!! :(

hey thanks for your responses and investigated the 1s suggested. I didn't send a cv to glasgow vet school yet but i shall. As for vet times and vn times, nah i don't get them unfortunately. but i have since applied too so heres hoping.

Hi Lou,

Do you get vet times or VN times? There are always jobs in Glasgow advertised (or so it seems!). Also, try sending your CV to GUVS as they sometimes take on SVNs and it is an excellent place to work on your practical skills!

there were two on here recently fron Barrow Hill in Ashford,Kent. I applied for the 1st year position but they ended up wanting an "almost 2nd year" with a completed college and nearly completed portfolio.
They also wanted a 2nd year.
If you did go for it, we have a 3rd bedroom we could rent out which is about half an hour away from the practice (I live at home half a week, and am renting a room in Norfolk for my first year position which I started yesterday).

There is a vets in Egham called Runnymede they are looking for a 2nd yr vet nurse they may be willing to take you on?

I want to do the degree, can you tell me where i can find information about this? And where to do it etc etc. I havent a clue as i currently dont live in the UK.
