I‘m trying to come up with ideas for a reception only nurse but have only come up with insurances, pharmacy and pre/post op calls so far.
Any ideas to bulk up the job to justify a higher salary?

Oh - and don't forget to click the link on the home page or community home page for the daily or weekly digest, that way you'll get a single email, once a day or week, with a list of any new questions posted on the site, which might either be things you can help with, or things you can learn from.

RE: Responsibilities for a reception only nurse

Hi,

Double-checking meds?

Realistically, it's the clinical aspects, especially schedule 3, that sets nurses apart and justifies higher salary. If doing a receptionists job, it should probably be receptionist pay.....
