I have been tasked to create job descriptions for nurses at a new practice. I have been given complete freedom to be able to utilise us nurses to their full abilities, something I am quite passionate about!

I would have to get back to you in the trial but I can come in and do a lunch and learn for you and your team and you can give it a go on my pretend models? Or on a patient if you can provide one.
I am an RVN but I now work for HTVista, which is designed for nurses to use. It’s an AI cancer screen device which can be used by nurses in consultations to rule out cancer. It’s been very popular with nurses in practice as it widens the scope of what services they can offer.

I’m not assuming that you have a device but it’s something new and innovative that nurses can do!

RE: Utilising nurses in practice

Thanks, I had those on my list. We’re not advanced enough yet to do CTs/MRIs or arterial lines.
