Is there anyone here that works predominantly in Ophthalmology that wouldn't mind sharing an example of an eye medication chart with me?
I am looking at designing one for our service and have got a rough plan but hoping to be inspired by

RE: Does anyone have an eye medication chart?

Hi, would it be okay, if you can forward me the table too please.
did you manage to fine what it was you were after? I work for a veterinary ophthalmologists. We don't have a specific chart that we use post cataract surgery as topical medications tend to need to be tailored to the specific patients needs. it depends on what their intar-ocular pressure (IOP) is doing post op, generally all patients go home on a combination of topical NSAIDS, Steroids and a mydratic and ocular lubrication, along with any oral pain relief. Some patients suffer from post operative ocular hypertension (High IOP) so they need to be send home with drops to help control that. We check patients the next day and then depending on how their doing the vet will decide.

As for a chart post op we tend to generate a blank med chart for client with topical and oral medications separated from 6am to midnight so the ow can tick when they have given the medication to keep them right.

if you're needing something for hospitalisation, we just have a blank box that lets us write the topical medication along with time given and Left, right or Both eyes

RE: Does anyone have an eye medication chart?

Hi Andrea, the antimicrobial eye products table sounds fabulous! Please could you send me a copy of this to share with the team?

I wanted to see whether anyone had an extension of their hospitalisation sheet that was focused on eyes - our vet wanted a separate chart for once cataract surgery has taken place. We have produced a chart but it seems to overcomplicate things.

RE: Does anyone have an eye medication chart?

I would find that helpful too

RE: Does anyone have an eye medication chart?

Hi Karen I've sent it in a private message, I tried to attached here but it didn't work.
I work at IVO in Spain (exclusively ophtalmology). What do you mean by a chart? Like types of drugs?

We mainly use drops or creams, and post surgery we give tablets.
