What do people use for instrument identification for kits? We currently use the tape but it does get old looking very quickly and some colours start to look similar after time so looking to change.

RE: Instrument identification

We have a ring binder with all kits photographed and on the back a list of instruments in said kit. We have standardised kits now. Cat spay ( can be used on lumps/castrates etc) smaller forceps and bitch spay kit - similar to the cat spay but larger forceps and a couple extras. We have a chart in prep as to what should be included if anyone forgets. We then do have a simple stitch up kit with minimal instruments. Once you learn what's in it it's easy to see what's missing.
