We have a water purification device in practice to turn tap water into distilled water for use in the autoclave.
Has anyone any knowledge on recycling the waste water from the autoclave, through this purification device to use it again

RE: Recycling waste water from the autoclave

James Colver Cert.
But your water purifier might not be overly happy with it and maybe shorten its life span! Mop the floors with it or use it to water plants :)

RE: Recycling waste water from the autoclave

We collect the waste water and use it in mop buckets to wash the floor, considered re purifying it but could not get straight answer out of autoclave manufactures as to if this was ok or not..

RE: Recycling waste water from the autoclave

A better option may be to use that used water to soak the next lot of instruments.

RE: Recycling waste water from the autoclave

I don't have any knowledge about this but it sounds like a good way to cut down on the amount of water wastage. Will be interested to see what people say.
