I cannot remember the exact model number unfortunately. It fit on the average kitchen worktop with front facing long edge so of an average capacity. It really did not have too much hard work to do at the time as we were a new start up; it became a sum of its new parts. Once failed if you did not let it cool completely before opening the door, it used to spew all the water in it all over the worktop and into the drawers below.

Don't miss it at all.

RE: Autoclave & sterilisation experience

many thanks for your reply- this is really helpful.

RE: Autoclave & sterilisation experience

many thanks for your insight on the burtons autoclave. do you know what model this was? was it an instaclave?

Its better if it has a rest between runs, doesnt like to be overworked

RE: Autoclave & sterilisation experience

Our previous autoclave was from Burtons.

It was horrible! It had a replacement board more than once and numerous other parts and used to fail on a regular daily basis, despite our near anal seal drying and cleaning. It was serviced each year by Burtons. It was a relief when the circuit board went for the third time ( a design fault apparently), and I decided that it would be better to invest in a different make.

We replaced it with a Prestige medical Anima pro, (whispers quietly) It's now over a year old and is very reliable.

Obviously it may be too small for what you need.
