Just wondering what everyone uses to pad between toes when bandaging?
I have always used cotton wool (as taught) but recently had a dogs toes rub (I do suspect the bandage had got wet also!!) but someone recommended orthoband?

As previously mentioned, orthoband will wick away moisture which can then evaporate so is ideal for padding.

RE: Bandaging

James Colver Cert.

I've been to a couple of cpd sessions with the vet wound library where this was brought up. Cotton wool holds moisture and can become quite hard/abrasive when wet. Orthoband wicks away moisture and stays soft. Georgie Hollis (VWL) experimented by walking around her house for the day with cotton wool between her toes on one foot, and orthoband between the toes of the other foot, and confirmed that orthoband was a lot more comfortable to wear!!
