Ed, RVN<p>Opening up a can of worms!&nbsp; We do an initial scrub with hibi mixed half and half with water, and Chloraprep in theatre.</p> <p>Best practice surely dictates that whatever you do for final prep, it should not involve anything unsterile coming into contact with the skin.&nbsp; There is also debate regarding spray bottles - they are unacceptable to many - I believe they found pseudomonas growing on them rather alot in human healthcare settings, so they have been abandoned and seem to be losing favour in the veterinary world as well.&nbsp; <br /><br />Please see multiple previous posts on the subject and get in touch with Rob Watkins from Invicta, I don&#39;t know if they are still doing a free lunch and learn.</p> <p>Lastly can I ask why you disagreed with my post from 2015?&nbsp; It was the same question as you have just asked!</p><div style="clear:both;"></div>
