Can you name the top three or four books, journals or websites that would come in useful for learning about anaesthetic nursing/science? I was hoping for a few ideas from any RVNs that may have done some sort of post RVN qualification

RE: Anaesthetic Nursing Books, Journals and Websites

No problem

RE: Anaesthetic Nursing Books, Journals and Websites

Fab thanks for the info.

RE: Anaesthetic Nursing Books, Journals and Websites

Improve international do an NCert in anaesthesia. I haven’t completed it myself but hear it’s good. It’s a level 5 qualification.

Not sure if there’ll be more qualifications with the new vet nurse status that the RCVS are looking to bring out along with the overhaul of the Dip AVN

there lots of books out there. The ones I’d recommend would be Liz Welsh’s anaesthesia for VNs & the BSAVA manual of Analgesia & Anaesthesia
