I was one of the first intakes of this course and would say that it is very informative. With regards to the English, the course is very well laid out and so long as you have a good understanding of the English language, you will be OK. There are quite a few webinars/tutorials to watch online though and im not sure if they are subtitled, so you may have difficulty if you are deaf? I would contact the BVNA directly as im sure they will be able to answer all of your questions. Good luck if you decided to do it though x

RE: Oral Care Nurse Certificate 2019

If that is the BVNA online one then I have done it. It comprises of several modules with multiple choice questions at the end of each which you have to pass in order to progress and then there is a final exam incorporating everything that you have learned previously to pass the course. The course is mostly theory but we did have to complete 2 dental examinations and charts and upload them as evidence of completion. I really enjoyed doing it as dentals are not a strong area for me so I have learnt a lot from it. As far as I am aware the language used isn't too difficult but English is a first language for me. Is it worth contacting BVNA and talking to them about any concerns you may have?
