More to the point, the VMD has said that CBD products MUST now be licensed, and since there are no products licensed for animals, vets have to use a human-licensed product.

A subject close to my heart as my daughter was patient 001 in a trial conducted amongst patients at Great Ormond Street (amongst others) to test the efficacy of CBD in the treatment of epilepsy.

It was ineffective for my daughter, sadly. And it seems that the media hype surrounding CBD (makes a great story: slightly naughty drug so despised by governments could be the cure for epilepsy, cancer, you name it, in children) is simply not borne out by the science thus far.
