Our current protocol is pre-med with buprenorphine at 0.03mg/kg sub-cut, also given at this time is Meloxicam 0.5mg/kg sub-cut and metoclopramide 0.5mg/kg sc.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;After 30mins we pre oxygenate the bunny.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;They they get the following drugs in the same syringe IM&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Medetomidine 0.1mg/kg. Ketamine 5mg/kg&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Rabbits will also be maintained on isoflo.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Atipamezole is given at 2.5 x the medetomidine dose.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;This is works quite well for us, but as you say there are many protocols out there.&lt;/p&gt;
