I am looking for recommendations for a new anaesthesia monitor, specifically one that monitors o2 & CO2, as well as volatile agents. We currently have a Surgivet monitor (which doesn't monitor gases etc.), which is ok but temperamental

RE: Anaesthetic monitor recommendations needed please!

Datex are a dream ♥

RE: Anaesthetic monitor recommendations needed please!

I agree with Susanna. I've worked in practice for 15 years and still do locum work too as well as working for a veterinary equipment company as a sales rep. I have to say that in practice I always loved the Datex Ohmeda monitors. Coming from the human field they are robust and fantastic bits of kit which have been well serviced and cover lots of different parameters. If you would like further info from me id be more than happy to help. There are lots of newer machines out there but I've not necessarily come across one as good.

RE: Anaesthetic monitor recommendations needed please!

Thanks Susanna, I hadn't looked at the Datex but will take a look

I like Datex personally, you can get them second hand from human medicine, buy the paediatric NIBP consumables etc.
