Data sheet warns that it can take 1 hour to be effective s/c and 15 mins i/m. At best that buys you 45 minutes with a drug lasting ~4 hours.</p> <p>Despite what the data sheet says I&#39;ve seen little difference between i/m and s/c speed of onset, based on clinical signs and pain scoring. We only use the drug i/m under anesthesia.</p><div style="clear:both;"></div>
