Does anyone have much experience with thyforon in dogs? My parents dog needed a bilateral thyroidectomy and is on these but they are making her inappetant - has this happened to any other dogs and if so is it just temporary?

Ive never come across it personally and nothing in the data sheet.

What was the primary disease that resulted in the thyridectomy - could that be affecting appetite?

How far post op and how is the t4 levels - as hypothyroidism will cause decreased appetite, or other post surgical issues.

Also are pills being given before food ( I believe this is still recommended for absorption) so could it be a food aversion?

Sorry to not be of more help
