I'm an RVN working at the university as imaging nurse alongside another nurse and a human radiographer. We basically organise the imaging day, take all the xrays and run CT as well.... the other nurse has also learnt MRI so between us we aquire the images for all the modalities so that the radiologists are just reporting. North West surgeons also have a VN as a radiographer and I'm sure Davies are looking for a "diagnostics nurse" it is becoming more and more common..... With that said hopefully Nicks right about more courses being developed in the future because I don't have much luck finding them either I have mostly learnt from the clinicians and the nurse here

RE: I Love Doing Xrays

There’s also one in Gloucestershire

RE: I Love Doing Xrays

BSAVA and RVC run courses. The BSAVA onehas a practical element to them. Most of my studies took me to human healthcare. Hopefully, some will be developed soon.
