I am thinking of getting an exam table from vet direct - the multivet table ( Multi-Vet Electric Table (60-107cm) with Tilt and Perforated Insert 136 x 65cm) and just wondered if anyone has one/has used one and has any good/bad reviews of it

RE: Exam table from vet direct any reviews?

Thats fantastic thanks for the feed back will have a think. :-)

RE: Exam table from vet direct any reviews?

We have one. We use it for dentals/radiography/dirty ops.

Pros

Easy to adjust and goes pretty low and comfortably high for 6 foot tall vet to operate

Tilts

Stable

Cons

Grid hard to clean. Plan was to use it as a dental top but we are back to using a incontinence pad on the table surface.

Powder coating has rusted in places in 15 months

It's fine and does what I want it to. Vet Direct will supply wheels (I think FOC) and they make it much better. Don't pay full price as it regularly appears in the offer booklet, if not currently on offer find an old one and negotiate. If you get the lead top it's just a lump of loose lead chucked under the rubber mat! I think if I bought it again I'd get non-perforated top.
