im sorry i cant give you prices due to practice confidentiality but i can tell you that i have worked in many practices that all charge differently and by varing amounts.

Hi Steph, our sedation charge includes our nurse time for monitoring etc.

so much depends on the area of the country, the type of sedation, and the amount of care your sedated patient is going to need

I can't actually remember how much ours are but I think roughly 1.5x more. It does however depend how you charge it (I.e do your patients get charged a separate hospitalisation fee, a theatre fee, a fee for nurse time for monitoring the patient under sedation, or is this included?) The actual drugs aren't that expensive but sedated patients need monitoring during and in recovery...
