in the mornin i would notice him struggle to get up and already i can hear some creptius in his stifle (just in mornin). he has had a couple of hydrotheapy sessions inc one treadmill session but he is still hyper. am i just bein the annoyin client lol

Re: Agein problems

Obviously dependant on whether there is something wrong, hydrotherapy is a fab way of burning off energy, without putting too much stress on joints etc. My old boy used to love swimming at Greyfriars Hydro. pool & the sleep he had when we got home, was different somehow - more happy, satisfied & relaxed.

Re: Agein problems

Hi Kerrie,

in what way does he look uncomfortable? is he crying out in pain, or does he look like he is in pain at all. Is he lame after walking then rest, does he struggle to get up?

What food has he been fed on and what do you feed him on now?

Sorry for all the questions, it's just that i have had rotties for a very long time, and some can have some weird and wonderful lying/sitting positions without anything actually being wrong. My 2 yr old is a bit hen toed as they say when she stands, but her hips are fine, and she has never been lame. I had another who lay with her back legs splayed for all the world and again she had a 3:3 hip score.
