Going to try him on Hills J/D to see if it gives him the squits or not, lol, and getting him on Synoquin next week. Luckily he is insured.
Any tips on exercise as he loves running

Re: Confirmed Hip Dysplasia

have you looked into a magnetic collar?. my old lurcher couldn't take nsaids as they upset her tummy. she had bad arthriis in her hips and had 3 toes on her left fore with middle digit unstable fracture. we used to give her odd dose of metacam when it was bad but then i got her a bioflow collar and she never looked back. atfer wearing it for 4 hours she got upstairs and went on sons bed(she hadn't done that for long time) i even stopped newmarket joint supp. they have lifetime guarantee only cost bout £35.00 incl postage. look on ecoflow website.

i currently have a 1yr old gsd who is now wearing her collar since we sadly lost her to lymphoma(am sure collar helped with this also) just cause he so clumsy om his limbs but seems great now.

I'm off on my jollies today. We're off to Cyprus for 11 days.

Hydro worked for him, but also regular short exercise rather than one big blast. They're pretty good at letting you know when they've had enough exercise and you don't want to restrict them too much.

Re: Confirmed Hip Dysplasia

its hard when you have a bouncy dog to try and restrict their exercise!
