I've never had this problem with the Millpledge one's but it may be worth contacting your rep to see if there is a batch issue?

They may replace them FOC.

It could be that they aren't designed for use over 134c but I haven't ever looked that closely at the packaging to see if there is a user guide!

We're using the Milpledge ones at the moment. We did have a wee sample of Steril-Peel ones a while ago which were much better, but we like the test strips that come attached and we've got loads of Milpledge ones left!

We do squeeze out all the air - they seem to fill right back up during sterilisation though? It is a new autoclave that we're using, so I was thinking that it's maybe something to do with the settings, as well as the bags not having the best seal.

silly question maybe- but are you making sure to squeeze all the air out before sealing?

We are having the same problem and are currently using the same solution! We use the self-seal autoclave bags (I think that is what they are called). It only started happening recently! If you find a better solution or better bags please let me know!

What make of bags are you using? We have found some have better sticky than others.
