I can't get hold of Hexarinse at the moment, does anyone else use an alternative? We can't brush our animal's teeth so I like to flood the gums after a dental in the vain hope it will have some residual effect for a short time!

It's a chlorhexidine paste that you apply to the teeth and gums which becomes sticky on contact with moisture.

It's great after dentals but also good for owners with difficult pets, gingivitis/stomatitis cases.

It can also be used on wounds. Saw the rep the other day who showed me a case study where it had been used on a pododermatitis/interdigital dermatitis case - the results were impressive!

RE: Hexarinse alternative

I found this on Amazon made by Virbac
