Does anyone know anything about it? I have emailed them for info but no reply as of yet!

RE: Certificate in Exotics

Hi

its 60hours cpd but you spend a lot longer on it than that but it's a really enjoyable and interesting course

RE: Certificate in Exotics

[quote user="Clawedjird"]

No case studies to write up. There are 4 sections to the course, birds, reptiles, small mammals and wildlife. Each. section is divideded into 4 units. Each unit gets a handout of notes and revison exercises. The revision exercises arent compulsory to complete but are useful. I can't remember the exact cod hours but it was lot, something like 15 hours per unit so something in the region of 240 hours for the whole course. I really enjoyed it when I did it about 10 years ago. I would throughly recommend it :)

i did the course a few years ago. It's very detailed. They send you out notes every so often and there's questions to complete at the end of each unit. The exams are multiple choice and there is also a practical which is not like the nursing osces, it photos and pieces of equipment to answer questions about. I really enjoyed it especially as I worked in an exotic referral centre at the time
