hi I do believe this is out of the hands of any whole sale company. firstly the problem was caused by the manufacturer of a specific brand of anaesthetic induction agent. followed by everyone (veterinary practices) that used the initial product, increasing the demand by 4 fold for Propofil plus, of which no one can budget for...... following that people have and are trying to bulk buy, which is causing problem for vets that require these products for non routine operations, such as emergency vets who when they operate they have too!

there is a large length of supply chain than just wholesale company to practice and a lot of factors influence this.

Are either suitable for CRI's in animals that are being treated for seizures? If not, then would the cascade not be applicable?

(Genuine question as I don't know the answer)

Vetofol and propoflo plus are now OOS with centaur. We can only order the human version Propoven in 20ml glass snap top vials. Centaur will only allow me to order 1 box at a time though due to shortage. 5x 20ml vials wont last us long... Centaur estimate things to be in stock by october 2015.

Hi thanks, we also received a supply of propoflo plus thank god, also ordered in Alfaxan but boss has a phobia about using it due to the old saffan days when everything used to go into cardiac arrest when using it, told him it's not quite the same but my words are falling on deaf ears he hates change!!

We used Alfaxan last week but Propoflo plus came in our delivery from HS on Thursday

I believe we are going to use Alfaxan when we run out because we already use this for induction of cats.
