If you have cloud storage in the form of a NAS drive. Network attached storage. You should be able to connect to that via the iPad. Now in human radiography we have a PACS which stands for Picture Archiving & Communication System. Which means we can access images on any PC in hospital that is attached to the hospital network.

The best bet is to contact the software company for your radiographs, they are best placed to assist you with this.

I think they might be wanting too much! ;) but also, is storing X-rays on an iPad only not a bit risky? What if battery empty/iPad breaks/ gets nicked?!..

That would be too long, they want it so that it basically goes straight to it after the x-ray has been taken. Currently i back up the x-rays and transfer them to our system. Which takes no longer than emailing them, but thats not quick enough. =/

Email them to your practice address and open them on the iPad?
