The animal needs intensive nursing and care during the adminstration to look out for any transfusion reactions - ideally 5 mins obs to look for any changes in vitals - so where would you normally put your high risk/ close obs patients? Depending on size of clinic - this might just be in an observation kennel in prep room, where easy to monitor and access/easily in sight. Your kennel will also need to consider any other clinical signs the pet maybe suffering as a result of its condition (and reason for needing the transfusion).
