I'm desperately hoping to get my practice to invest in some fluid pumps!
Anyone know of any (reasonably priced) ones that I should look at? Second hand would be fine providing that the giving sets are not going to be discontinued!! I would

RE: Fluid pumps

Hi Rachael,

As you were asking for reasonably priced fluid pumps, I thought I'd let you know we have both the NIKI V4 & VetPro on offer at present, the NIKI does tend to be a more popular pump. However if you're looking for something simpler we have the DripAssist Drip counter which is a much more cost effect way to infuse fluids.

http://www.burtonsveterinary.com/products/infusion/infusion-pumps/niki-iv-infusion-pump-system.html

We also have http://www.burtonsveterinary.com/products/infusion/infusion-pumps/niki-iv-infusion-pump-system.html this one which is smaller but still just as good, i tend to try and use this one for cats and metronidazole infusion.

As for giving sets we use animal care giving sets from henry shein and have never had a problem when we have had trials of different types of giving sets:)

Hope this helped:)
