He's to be on it for 6-8 weeks minimum, so wanting to make sure I pick one

RE: Opinions on diets for food trial.

Hi

Personnelly I generally find the RCW diets tend to be more palatable, although the Allergenic dry does look a bit boring, think if you are worried about palatability then the RCW hypo would be your best option in my opinion, but don't forget Hills definately do palatability guarantee and so does RCW I think? so you could always return the bags for a refund if he does not like:-) Don't rule out RCW sensitivity either this is super palatable and my dog who has severe ibd does really well on it and its the only diet I have found so far that doesnt give him Diarrhoea- lucky for me he's a totally pig and would eat cardboard if I put it in his bowl!

RE: Opinions on diets for food trial.

I've no real experience with anallergenic as we use RCW Hypoallergenic as the trial food and usually this is enough if you are thinking that he needs Anallergenic then neither HA or Z/D compare.

Out of Hypo/HA/ZD I personally feel that ZD is the least palatable, it's been a number of years since I used HA in dogs but use Hypo all the time and don't have many problems with palatability
