Hi,

We currently use manual processing for our dental films and the results are hit or miss. We have the Fuji prima digital processor for our regular rads but someone mentioned there might be some digital film we can use for intraoral and dental

RE: Dental X-ray compatibility.

We have a cassette in our digital system that looks like a regular size digital plate but is more a "holder" for several tiny dental films. You just open the cassette, take one of the little films out, stick it in the mouth and take xray as usual, then put the film back into the cassette and process as usual.

The best bit about it though is when the latest vet student uses it to take an xray and you end up with a load of jigsaw pieces that resembles an animal...

RE: Dental X-ray compatibility.

Where I worked in the past we had a digital intra oral plate that had a wire connected so radiograph appeared directly onto pc http://www.veterinaryxrays.co.uk/dental-imaging/sopix-2-dr-intraoral-digital-system
