We had a unit on demo, they were nice but not £3000 worth of nice! We found them more suitable to use in recovery rather than in theatre.

these hot dogs are really good, have a low medium and high heat and can get different sized mats too. they are quite dear but worth it. you can lay them flat or wrap them around. really useful for dentals and can lay it on a cradle for an abdo op. hope this helps.

How did you get on with this?

I know this thread is a couple of months old, but came up in a search. I'm looking to improve maintaining temperatures of our patients.

How much are they? Can they be used for abdominal surgery, as look like they wrap around the patient?

Yes thanks have spoken to Nordic, just need to persuade the boss that a trial would be worthwhile!
