I was just having a look at this course as it is the only one that doesn't seem to cost thousands of pounds. I was wondering, has anyone done this and was it any good?
Is it part- time or full - time? online correspondence or taught?

Was wondering how we start up on this course? Can only find an application to sit the actual exam, would someone mind please sending a link? Many thanks

I also have done this course In The first year it was out in 2010. I agree fantastic course, lots learnt including clinical reasons for behaviour problems. Go for it if you can. Great venues, great course, great supportive tutor who is a vet and a behaviourist. I previously worried re the case studies as I am not the best at writing essays, but, don't worry, support from tutor and fellow students was always there.

Good luck !

RE: Has anyone done the ESVPS Certificate in Animal Behaviour

Hi

You do pre and post module questions online which are multiple choice. Pre questions to see how much knowledge you already have then post to see what you need to work on. A lot of it is self study which is good but always have tutor for support.

You then must do 5 case studies ( 500 words ) and 1 case report ( 1500 words ) on cases you have dealt with, then your exam which is multiple choice. I'm writing up case studies and reports at the moment for exam in April.

If you do choose to do it you can always pick my brains

Thank you for the reply, I would really like to do a behaviour course but all the others seem to run into thousands of pounds which I can't imagine my practice would want to pay. This at least seems a fairly reasonable price

So what do you do between the taught days? Is it just private study or do you have online parts to the modules?

Vikki x

Ive just finished the course, just waiting to sit exam.

Its a good course taught be Sam Lindley, 2 days taught at venue 4 times a year, can spread it over 3 years if it's suits better.

Hope this helps, anymore questions just let me know.
